Scope of Role
The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects Knowledge
Area of Responsibility
- DVA Engineer creates and maintains analysis models representing t he assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle.
- He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer.
Job Requirements
- Should have experience in Body Components /Interior Trims/Exterior Trims Domains
- Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
- Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME Y14.5
- Should have knowledge of 1D, 2D stack up & 3D dimensional variation analysis
- Hands on experience on Catia V5/Teamcenter VisMockup
- Hands on Experience in variation analysis software
- Basic understanding of Kinematics
- Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing
- Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred
Essential:
- Must have 2 years experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with TC VisVSA
- Experience in using CATIA V 5/V6, Team Centre Engineering (TCE)
- Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
- Successful history of delivery with in the automotive sector
- Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
- Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels
- PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc

BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
